Civil Litigation - The Law Office of Bruce M. Broyles - More than Foreclosures
Civil Litigation: I have practiced law for almost 25 years and it has all been involved in Civil Litigation. Approximately five years ago I began writing a blog to help spread the word about the many issues in defending foreclosures. I continue to help homeowners facing foreclosure, and I still maintain a blog regarding those issues. I wanted to start writing a blog about some of the other issues I handle without changing the message or content of my first blog.
I handle many different areas of the law when conflicts arise, as well as, advising business clients how to avoid issues. I have handled cases involving minority shareholder rights, covenants not to compete, franchise agreements, unfair competition and trade secrets. I represent both landlords and tenants; I represent buyers and sellers in real property transactions and land installment contracts; I represent both homeowners and contractors; I have been involved in cases involving breach of fiduciary duty, concealment and estate assets, conversion of personal property, and boundary disputes.
I also have an extensive back ground in appellate practice, and have argued cases in most of the appellate districts in Ohio and The Ohio Supreme Court. I have also argued cases before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
There are areas of the law that I believe are better handled by those who practice in those areas on a regular basis: Domestic Relations, Probate, and Worker's Compensation, I also do not handle any criminal cases. However, I have been involved with other attorneys and have assisted in the motion practice and appellate practice of these areas. So I am at least familiar enough with those areas to assist you in finding an attorney.
I am located in Youngstown, Ohio. My practice is primarily located in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, but I have handled cases in many of the counties in the Eastern part of the State from Lake County to Scioto County.
